BETHEL CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE

          Our glass is always "half full!"

Prime Time is a ministry for those who are age 50 and up.  We are a support system for this chapter in our lives.  Each month we have a carry-in dinner with a program (speaker, musical presentation, activity, etc.) usually including a devotional.

There are also monthly outings together.  Some of them are eating out, visiting museums or other interesting places, or participating in District Prime Time activities at Higher Ground Nazarene Camp Ground in Harrison, Indiana.

We also reach out to shut-ins.  One Sunday each month we visit a local nursing home.  While there, we sing old familiar hymns with the residents, share a short appropriate message, and pray with them.  It is such a blessing to see patients who cannot communicate very well in conversation , be able to sing the hymns they remember and love!  There is joy on many faces!  We also provide gift bags and Christams card showers to each shut-in in our church family in December.

Food, fun, fellowship, learning, laughter, devotions, prayer, and outreach are part of our times together.  We invite anyone in this age group to join us.
